After reading a lot of reviews for its Korean food and decided to give this place a try. Craving for a Korean army stew and order their large size army stew set (including kimchi pancake and dumpling) for the 2 of us (ideally for 3-4 pax). Food was very authentic and delicious. They also have free refill for army stew soup. Would definitely come back again if any craving for the stew. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

Quiet restaurant, friendly staff. The large army stew was more than enough for 2pax, with generous portions of ingredients. Side dishes: glads noodle, kimchi, omelette & vegs were yummy.

Give em a five star for affordable prices with tasty food. Unlimited serving of high quality Korean side dishes, very affordable army stew (check out Fave coupons!) Good service, cosy and hidden gem for Korean food lovers. Iced water is provided. There's alcohol and soju, both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages are on the menu. Apparently Daejon House and Jeju House is operated by the same owner so you're free to sit both side as long as they are open. Recommended for army stew.

Korean street food. Lots of sides with the main dish. Not really food court ambiance, not really restaurant, but in between. Quality is decent, but set lunches is value for money when compared to other Korean casual dining.

The food was above average, but the heat was a shame.
Korean pancake was honestly the biggest letdown food-wise as it didn’t really have that kimchi taste but was also kinda oily.
But the rest was actually pretty good.
The Korean rice cakes, served with cheese on top, were nice but the cheese became a bit too rich after it had cooled down a bit.
The barbecue was excellent. The meat was nicely chosen, and the fat would melt during the cooking process, literally causing the meat to cook itself. Delicious.
The army stew was absolutely phenomenal. Enough said.
My advice? It’s definitely worth the trip there, but if you can’t take the heat, it’s not for you.
PS; watch out for table space. The staff here have a tendency to pile on the dishes in a relatively short amount of time, usually faster than you can clear them, so watch your table space and make sure they don’t get cluttered up.
