YY Kafei Dian started from a passion for providing comfort foods of traditional Hainanese flavours, and the warm nostalgic atmosphere of the old Singaporean coffee shop.
Did You Know?
By 1841 during the British Colony rule, the Hainanese made up the largest indigenous group in Singapore, many of whom ventured into the coffee shop businesses; selling coffee, tea, pastries, and bread.
They brewed aromatic coffee using the specially roasted coffee bean and the \'calico\' coffee sack which they invented.
YY Kafei Dian offers NOT only traditionally brewed fragrant coffee and our renowned kaya buns that are freshly baked in-house daily, but ALSO all kinds of Hainanese fare such as chicken rice, Hainanese-style pork chops, Hainan Braised Pork Belly (kong-bak) and a range of cooked dishes (zi char) options.
Do drop by our coffee shop, which is conveniently located at the corner of Beach Road and Purvis Street, just a short walk from Bugis or Cityhall MRT station!

新加坡在英国殖民统治期间(1841年…), 海南人移居到来落业的风朝, 组成了新加坡最大的族群，其中不乏许多人开始从商做生意; 卖起咖啡, 茶, 糕点和面包。
海南人用独特烘焙过的咖啡豆磨粉, 以热水在自创制的 ”咖啡袋” 中冲泡出醇厚的咖啡, 造就了今日 “海南咖啡 (Hi-Nam Kopi / Hainan coffee)” 的口碑。
喜园咖啡店不仅冲泡传统醇厚的海南咖啡, 同时每天提供新鲜出炉的咖椰面包, 还有各种海南菜, 如海南鸡饭, 海南猪排, 海南扣肉及各种南洋风味煮炒熟食之选择。
喜园咖啡店坐落在美芝路和巴米士街(俗称海南二街)的拐角处, 距离武吉士(白沙浮)或政府大厦地铁站仅百米之遥！
