A hidden gem in the neighbourhood with a wide selection of western/nepalese food. It has been around for more than a decade, and the owner is very friendly. Food quality was way better than Jack's Place and prices were very reasonable!
Some bad stuff tho:
1. The pizza we ordered was a bit too small and tasted like it came from Cold Storage.
2. Mashed potato tasted like it came from a powdered packet
3. Service was very very slow on a crowded Sunday and we had to set aside more than an hour for lunch.
I think service might be much better on quieter weekdays.

Value for money lunch sets
Paid 12.80 nett for a 3 course meal with a choice of drink. There was no service charge nor gst which is awesome!
The food was generally fair. I very much like the chicken stragonoff with rice as it warms my soul. Service was fast and good.
Will recommend!

Just had lunch at this quaint Nepalese restaurant, great menus, value for money western set lunches. I need to add that my husband loves the beef done by Tim. Medium rare, close to perfection! Will update pics next round

This restaurant offers several value for money set meals. Due to the profile of most residents in this neoghbourhood the restaurant also offers set menu for senior citizens. We tried the pork knuckle and found it tasty. Portion is huge even for 2 to share that we had to pack it home.

It was a Public Holiday, and we headed out to Toa Payoh for something different. Chanced upon Tim's Restaurant not too far from our favourite chicken rice, and what a gem it turned out to be. This simple Nepalese joint serves up very decent western fare. Besides they have excellent staff with immense patience with the customers! Is recommended this once to anyone, but don't take MY word for it; go try for yourself!
