As a young and vibrant F&B company founded in May 2007, Olive Vine offers a decent selection of pasta and western fusion cuisine, local specialties, as well as sandwiches and cakes. It aims to position its brand as the best tasting and affordable pasta and western food available in the F&B sector in Singapore. In addition, Olive Vine values and promotes healthy eating and hence its dishes are served without any MSG added.
Olive Vine’s initial ventures began in food court outlets located at Bugis Junction, Great World City, and Raffles City. With its healthy progress, Olive Vine established its very first full outlet at Marina Square in November 2010. Today, Olive Vine has successfully evolved and is piloting three full outlets located at Marina Square (Basement 1, Marina Link), Suntec City Mall (3rd level, Sky Garden) and 470 North Bridge Road (opposite Bugis Junction) respectively.
Olive Vine’s strong reserve in serving quality dining is highly commended and their professional standards are recognized within the industry – Olive Vine has thus far received the 2011 Singapore Brand Award and 2011 Young Entrepreneurship Award (Platinum Category) respectively.
The business performance of Olive Vine is underpinned by the company’s purpose-driven objective of becoming financially successful in order to help the poor and needy.
To this end, Olive Vine’s mission initiatives are completely self-funded, and does not rely on any funds and/or donations from churches, corporations and/or individuals. The Company was initially set up as a “tent making” business for the purpose of providing financial and humanitarian aid to the poor and needy in developing and third world countries like China (rural areas), Myanmar and Pakistan.
Profits from the business are apportioned accordingly to provide financial assistance for families/households, widows and orphans in general, as well as selected ‘disaster-hit’ areas wherever necessary and/or applicable. The Company also provides funding for other mission projects for selected churches, mission organizations and individuals in Singapore (Children Resource Centre), India as well as Malaysia.
As Olive Vine sets it heart on reaching out to the poor and needy, it strives to bring its business to greater heights by continually pledging high standards in serving quality western cuisine to its customers.
